A: We are located on the western edge of Summit County, in Copley, Ohio.

Q: Is it true that you have a datacenter onsite?
A: Yes!  Our datacenter operations are located within our main headquarters.  We maintain our internet based technologies like CyGemCloud, CyGemBackup, CyGemInsight and CyGemHost from that location.

Q: Who owns the data in your internet based technologies; like CyGemCloud?
A: YOU DO!  It IS your data after all.  CyGem encrypts and isolates the data and network traffic for each client.  Our backbone equipment to do this is Cisco and EMC.

Q: Does the name CyGem mean anything?
A: Yes!  Most people think CyGem contains, "Cyber" in fact, it really doesn't.  When CyGem was thinking of names to call the company we considered two, Cypress Technologies and Gemini Technologies.  Cypress is in reference to a company where the founding members first met and Gemini is because the partners are all Gemini's!  In fact, their birthday's are within 1 week of each other.  Since we couldn't decide which one we liked better we took the best of both!
